CEDAR RAPIDS - Another day, another set of roster moves for the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
The Kernels and parent Minnesota Twins announced Saturday that outfielder Zack Larson has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with a right hamstring injury, incurred late in Friday night's 10-5 win at Wisconsin.
Second baseman Tanner Vavra and catcher Michael Quesada both have been activated from the DL. Heading into its Saturday afternoon game at Wisconsin, the Kernels' active roster stood at the maximum 25 players.
The flurry of moves Saturday mean the Kernels have had an astounding 19 player transactions a little over a month into the Midwest League season. That includes placing an equally astounding seven guys on the disabled list and another on the restricted list for a Major League Baseball 50-game PED suspension.
