FEMINIST REUNION — Decades since they first gathered to plan their revolution, many of the founding members of the Iowa City Women's Liberation Front gathered Saturday in Happy Hollow Park for one more softball game. The game was the culmination of a weekend-long reunion of Iowa City feminists of the 1960s, '70s and '80s. IOWA GOP SHIFTING RIGHT — Republicans in the Iowa Senate were significantly more conservative in 2017 than before. TEAMWORK AT PULLING FOR HONOR — Decked out in their 'Brother/Family' T-shirts, Kennedy High School football players took their turn Saturday at pulling a 65-ton FedEx 757 jet as part of the second annual Pulling for Honor fundraiser. Dozens of teams of 25 people competed against each other on an Eastern Iowa Airport runway to see who could pull the massive jet 12 feet the fastest. TYLER COOK'S EMPHATIC PTL FINALE — The unofficial count for dunks in the first of two Prime Time League playoff games Sunday was 19. Iowa forward Tyler Cook unofficially had 10 of them. The sophomore-to-be saw his PTL season end, as his Marion Iron Works team lost to the Vinton Merchants team led by Brady Ellingson and Jack Nunge, but it wasn't without an emphatic stamp on the summer league.
