MLB Commissioner Manfred, Hall of Fame pitcher Smoltz to appear Thursday at Field of Dreams
DYERSVILLE - Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz will appear Thursday at the 'Field of Dreams” movie site to announce details of the touring National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
Manfred and Smoltz will appear at 3 p.m. to give specifics of the tour, which MLB says will visit several North American cities over multiple years. It will feature historical artifacts and an IMAX film 'highlighting the past, present and future of baseball.”
Manfred and Smoltz also will conduct a town-hall question-and-answer session with fans in attendance, which will be moderated by MLB Network host Greg Amsinger.
