DAVENPORT - A Missouri woman was sentenced Friday to two years in prison for her involvement in an April bank robbery in Coralville.
U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger sentenced Bridgette Durborow, 48, of St. Peters, Mo. on a charge of bank robbery. Durborow also was ordered to serve three years of supervised release following her imprisonment and pay $100 to the Crime Victim's Fund.
Durborow pleaded guilty on June 8 to the charge, which arose from an investigation of an April 20 robbery at Bank of the West in Coralville.
Durborow admitted that she drove Peter Lundberg to the bank and waited in the car while Lundberg robbed the bank, taking approximately $1,080. The two were apprehended a short time later traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 near Davenport. Durborow admitted that the two drove around other Eastern Iowa cities, including Cedar Rapids, Marion and Iowa City, looking for a bank to rob.
Peter Lundberg pleaded guilty on Sept. 1. He will be sentenced on Jan. 8.
The investigation was conducted by the Coralville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
