Mediacom vs. Sinclair: Where do you stand?

Mediacom and the Sinclair Broadcast Group are embroiled in yet another dispute as they negotiate a retransmission agreement.
Sinclair is the owner of CBS 2 and the operator of Fox 28 in Cedar Rapids, while Mediacom is the dominant cable television provider in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City markets.
The two companies have reportedly been in talks on a retransmission agreement since April without success. A similar dispute erupted in late 2006, and left some Mediacom customers without CBS and Fox programming for a period.
