Marion woman hurt in crash on Highway 13

A young woman from Marion was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 13 on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Connie L. Schierholz, 18, was southbound on Highway 13 around 1:20 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle about a mile from the Highway 30 interchange, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle struck a guardrail in the median.
Schierholz suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
An investigation is continuing.
