Marion truck fire spreads to camper, garage
MARION – A truck parked in a driveway caught fire Thursday night, and the flames spread to an RV and a garage before Marion firefighters contained the blaze.
Craig Johnson, owner of the blue Dodge Ram parked outside his home at 2195 Catherine Ct., said he came home around 9 p.m. to find the vehicle engulfed in flames.
The fire melted the interior of the truck's cab, burned a hole through the Palomino RV parked next to it and scorched the top exterior of the garage.
Johnson said he does not know how the fire started. No one was injured.
Marion fire officials are investigating.
