Marion robbers fired shots into business, police say
UPDATE: The two men who held up a Marion pizza place Monday night fired two shots into the restaurant as they were leaving the scene, police said today.
Michello's Pizza, at 808 Seventh Ave., was robbed just before 11 p.m. Monday. Witnesses say the two suspects fled the scene with shirts covering their faces.
The suspects were described as black men, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 2 inches tall, both weighing approximately 180 pounds. Both had their faces covered. One of the men was shirtless and armed with a handgun, and the had on a black sleeveless t-shirt and was armed with a long gun, police said.
No one was hurt in the robbery, police said.
