Marion murder trial reset to May

The second-degree murder trial of Kim Polley, 42, of Marion, was continued Wednesday to May 10 in Linn County District Court.
A pretrial also was reset for 10 a.m. April 29.
Sixth Judicial District Marsha Beckelman wrote on the order that this is the last time the trial will be continued. The trial has been continued many times over the last year.
Polley is accused of beating to death Daniel Meade, 50, of Hiawatha, at a neighbor's home in Marion on Dec. 14, 2008.
