Marion man charged with sexual abuse of a child
Kevin W. Campbell, 45, of Marion, is charged with sexual abuse against a girl over four-year period, according to court documents.
Campbell engaged in sex acts with the child at a Marion home between July 2004 and July 2008, according to the complaint charging him with second-degree sexual abuse. The victim told investigators the abuse began when she was about 7 years old, the complaint said.
Campbell, of 1501 First Ave., is held in the Linn County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail after an initial court appearance Thursday morning.
