Marion counselor charged with improper contact

Angelo D. Lopez, 55, is charged with sexual exploitation by a counselor for inappropriate contact with a client at a Marion clinic where he worked, according to police.
Lopez, of 375 Antler Court, Marion, kissed and touched the woman's clothed breasts, according to the complaint. Marion Police Lt. Scott Elam said the incident occurred April 11 at a Mercy Medical Center facility in Marion.
The woman reported the incident to Mercy April 17, and staff called police, Elam said. He said Lopez no longer works at the facility.
Lopez was released after an initial court appearance Friday.
