Marion beating death trial reset

The second-degree murder trial of Kim Polley has been reset to June 7 in Linn County District Court.
Polley, 42, of Marion is accused of beating to death Daniel Meade, 50, of Hiawatha, at a neighbor's home in Marion on Dec. 14, 2008.
Sixth Judicial District Marsha Beckelman wrote on the order that this is the final continuance she will grant. This trial was reset many times in the last year and a half.
