Man’s death in Ottumwa adult theater was homicide

OTTUMWA - Ottumwa police are investigating a man's death in an adult theater as a homicide.
The body of Kenneth McDaniel, 74, of Ottumwa, was found March 13 inside the front door of Cinema X.
Police Chief Jim Clark said Monday that investigators believe McDaniel's death was a homicide. He said autopsy results are still pending, but he anticipates charges will be filed.
Clark said he believes the suspect is already being held in the Wapello County Jail on other charges. No other details were released.
