An Iowa prisoner who escaped from a Coralville residential correctional facility for several months last summer has been captured after another escape.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports that 25-year-old Sylvester Campbell was taken into custody on Monday and charged with felony escape.
He'd been staying at Hope House, which is a residential confinement facility operated by the Iowa Department of Correctional Services.
The department says Campbell was seen running away from the facility on Feb. 12.
He fled the Hope House on May 28 last year and was taken back into custody on Aug. 8. Court records say Campbell was given a suspended five-year prison sentence for his May escape.
Campbell originally was assigned to Hope House as a condition of his probation for burglary and theft.
