Man killed in motorcycle crash near Dysart

A Dysart man was killed Saturday night when the motorcycle he was riding went into a ditch south of Dysart.
Michael J. Tarrance, 41, was killed in the crash. According to the Iowa State Patrol, he was riding southbound on Highway 21 at 210th Street, just south of Dysart, at 9:45 p.m. Saturday when he lost control. The motorcycle entered the west ditch, ejecting Tarrance.
The driver was not wearing a helmet, according to the State Patrol report.
