Man killed in Johnson County crash

JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa - A single-vehicle crash killed a Marengo man Sunday night.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Jason Alden, 34, of Marengo was driving south on Mehaffey Bridge Road when he lost control. The car entered the ditch and rolled several times, trapping Alden underneath.
The crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. between North Liberty and Solon.
Alden was pronounced dead at the scene by the Johnson County Medical Examiner.
