Man injured in Cedar Rapids shooting
CEDAR RAPIDS - A man outside on a porch was struck by a bullet and injured Saturday, police said.
The incident happened about noon in the 1400 block of Third Avenue SE.
The man, whom police do not believe was the target of the shooting, suffered a leg wound described as non-life-threatening. Another person at the scene took the injured man to Mercy Medical Center.
As of Saturday evening, police said no suspect was in custody.
