A man was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City Tuesday morning after his pick up truck rear-ended a snowplow.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 965 and Hendershot Road in North Liberty for a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries. After investigation, police determined a pickup had rear-ended a slow plow after sliding on some ice.
Police said the man driving the pickup, whose name and age was not released, was taken to the hospital for minor back and neck injuries. The snow plow driver wasn't hurt, police said.
