Man gets 25-year sentence for child pornography

A Sioux City man who sexually exploited a child by taking pornographic photos was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to 25 years in prison.
Sengkeo Phanaphay, 48, pleaded guilty in March to one count of sexual exploitation of a child. At the plea hearing, he admitted that between April and June 2009, he created child pornography by taking sexually explicit photos of an 8-year-old boy.
Phanaphay will also serve a life term of supervised release after the prison sentence.
