The Wanted by the FBI Omaha page has been updated to include fugitive Matthew Samuel West, who is wanted for failure to appear regarding drug-related charges in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. West was involved in a conspiracy to distribute a substance containing LSD.

While in high school, West enjoyed playing the drums and after graduating he continued to coach the drum line and also played in a local Cedar Rapids band. West was the co-owner/operator of a tie-dye shop. He was artistic and designed shirts that he attempted to sell at Grateful Dead concerts, which he usually attended during the 1980s and into the 1990s. ...Matthew Samuel West is wanted for failure to appear regarding drug-related charges in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The trial for West, 27, began Nov. 30.After the conviction was returned Thursday, Judge Michael Melloy ordered West held, pending sentencing March 9.West was convicted of a conspiracy involving 10 grams or more of LSD, which would subject him to a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years imprisonment, Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Colloton said.
