Man flees on foot from Cedar Rapids police

A man reportedly led police on a foot chase in Cedar Rapids on Thursday night.

An officer pulled the man over for a traffic stop near A Avenue NW and he fled on foot, according to authorities.

A lieutenant with the Cedar Rapids Police Department said they eventually caught the man, but other details were unavailable Thursday night.

The incident remains under investigation.
