Man dies after pickup goes in Delaware County lake

A 72-year-old man died Tuesday night after driving his pickup into the lake at Backbone State Park, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office reports.
The man has not been identified, pending notification of relatives.
The Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that public safety officials were called to the lake at 9:40 p.m. and found the pickup approximately 40 yards from the boat ramp.
“It is believed at this time that this incident was not an accident and that the driver deliberately drove into the lake,” the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
