Man dead after motorcycle accident in Central City
CENTRAL CITY - A 23-year-old man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle crashed into a car in Central City, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Dillan T. Sackett of Central City died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
According to a news release, Sandra M. Lennox, 56, of Coggon, was eastbound on Paris Road and turning northbound onto Buffalo Drive at 7:50 p.m. in Central City when the motorcycle struck her vehicle. Lennox suffered minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
