Man crashes car in Waterloo, leaves injured passenger

One person is under arrest after crashing their car in Waterloo early today and leaving an injured passenger at the scene.

Police say the accident happened shortly after midnight in the 1500 block of Sager Avenue in Waterloo.

A car hit a tree at the front of a trailer court and then drove off.

Police arrested the driver a short time later on alcohol-related charges.

The passenger went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
