Man arrested on attempted murder charge following incident at bar
A 26-year-old man is in the Linn County Jail, facing attempted murder charges, after an incident at the Viking Lounge in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids police say they arrested Paul Lomas, 26, for the following charges: attempted murder, willful injury and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Investigators say the incident happened at the Viking Lounge, 1971 16th Avenue, at about 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
