Jim Jacobmeyer has a hard time pinning down a precise definition of who is a “maker.”
The term frequently refers to people who tinker with technology and electronics, but he believes there's more to the word.
“It's not just about working with materials, but also ideas,” he says. “We're looking at musicians, poets, authors, people who are doing interesting things with computer graphics, video, software design, anyone.”
