Lone Tree man dies in crash south of town

LONE TREE - A Lone Tree man died from his injuries early Saturday after investigators said his pickup crashed south of town.
Investigators said they got the call just after midnight, south of Lone Tree along Wapsi Avenue. According to the Johnson County Sheriff's office, Robert Chamberlain, 23, of Lone Tree, was driving south at a 'high rate of speed' when his truck crashed. Chamberlain was thrown from the truck and flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, where he died.
The Johnson County Sheriff's office said Chamberlain was the only person in the truck.
