Sep. 30, 2009 8:30 am
The supervisors will be discussing their purchasing policy, a couple other things, and a host of post-flood building projects.
The one I find most interesting is the LCCS/Options building, which will likely be the first new construction related to the flood.
Liveblog starts at 10 a.m. The meetings is at Linn County West, in the board room on the ground floor of the old Steve & Barry's store.
Here's the agenda:
Approve tax abatement forms.
Public Hearing -- Presentation by the Cedar Rapids Downtown District for a “Grant Wood Cultural District” and seek Linn County support for their application to the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs to be selected as a 2009 Cultural District.
Discuss purchasing policy.
Discuss claims policy and frequency of payment.
