Linn jail inmate found after leaving hospital
Rose Mary Newlon, who walked away from Mercy Medical Center Monday while being detained on forgery charges, is back in custody.
Police found Newlon, 58, at 1025 Ninth Ave. SE this afternoon, Linn County Sheriff Brian Gardner said. She was taken back to the hospital.
Newlon was taken to the hospital for medical treatment while she was detained on a charge of forgery in Jackson County. She walked out of the hospital Monday.
