CEDAR RAPIDS - Baseball America magazine came out with its list of 'Best Tools” in the Midwest League this week, and a pair of Cedar Rapids Kernels pitchers were listed.
Kohl Stewart was named by BA as the Best Pitching Prospect in the league. Stewart was the parent Minnesota Twins' No. 1 draft pick in 2013.
Reliever Nick Burdi was listed as having the MWL's best fastball. It has reached 101 miles per hour numerous times since he joined the club in late June after being Minnesota's second-round draft pick from the University of Louisville.
All categories were picked via vote of all 16 league managers.
