Kernels announce 2015 schedule
CEDAR RAPIDS - The 2014 regular season isn't over, yet, but the Cedar Rapids Kernels announced Wednesday their 2015 schedule.
The Kernels open their Midwest League season Thursday, Aoril 9, at Kane County. The home opener is Sunday, April 12, against the Beloit Snappers.
The Midwest League is beginning its schedule a week later than normal and extending its season a week later, through Sept. 7.
