CEDAR RAPIDS - The U.S. Air Force says the plane that looks like Air Force One that is parked at the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids is not actually the president's plane.
The blue and white plane with "United States of America" written on it is smaller than the 747 the president normally flies on.
The Air Force confirmed that the 80001 number located on the tail of the plane, does not match the plane that is currently assigned to President Obama. It's been parked on the edge of the Eastern Iowa airfield near PS Air's facilities.
The look-alike plane is one of the Air Force planes at the president's disposal, but a public information officer says the plane is not transporting Obama or any specific person. The officer suggested that the plane "may be on a training mission."
