Iowa truck driver dies in Washington state crash

VERNITA, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says a Lorimor, Iowa, man died when the tractor-trailer rig he was driving overturned in central Washington about 40 miles east of Yakima.
The State Patrol says 55-year-old Ronald W. Collins was killed Wednesday night on State Highway 24. Troopers say he was eastbound in a 2000 Freightliner when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to overturn.
