Iowa gas station closes, reopens as bait shop

MUSCATINE (AP) - A Muscatine businessman is making the switch from gas to guns.
At least, that's what Babe Yocom hopes to do once he gets the necessary federal permits.
Yocom has owned Babe's Sinclair gas station for more than 40 years. He recently closed the place down and reopened as Babe's Bait and Tackle.
Yocom says he and his mother were tired of selling gas. They've had the gas pumps removed and are focusing instead of fishing gear and ammunition.
He's applied for a federal firearms license and wants to buy and sell guns when the permit is issued. He says business is up since they made the switch.
