May. 19, 2015 6:54 pm
IOWA CITY - For the Northern Iowa Panthers, two Lohauses is better than one.
Iowa City West junior forward Tanner Lohaus said Tuesday he has accepted a scholarship offer to play basketball at UNI beginning the 2016-17 season. He will join older brother, Wyatt, in Cedar Falls.
Tanner Lohaus, 6-foot-6, averaged 11.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this past season. He shot 61.1 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free-throw line.
Tanner was not immediately available for comment. The Lohaus brothers, of course, are the sons of former Iowa Hawkeye and longtime NBA player Brad Lohaus.
