IOWA CITY - The Iowa City school board will get to work Monday on finding a new superintendent.
The board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m to discuss the process for selecting a new superintendent.
It will be the board's first meeting since Superintendent Lane Plugge's announcement last week that
he accepted a job with an Area Education Agency in southwest Iowa. Plugge's last day will be about June 30, and school board President Patti Fields has said she'd like to have someone hired by that time.
