Iowa City police seek driver who hit bicyclist

Iowa City police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a bicyclists at the intersection of Jefferson and Johnson streets Tuesday afternoon.
Police say an adult male was struck by a news silver, four-door Pontiac Grand Am that may have a rear spoiler. The vehicle likely sustained damage to the passenger side, including a broken passenger side window, police say.
The bicyclists was taken to Mercy Hospital in Iowa City for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Iowa City police are seeking assistance in locating this vehicle and driver. Anyone with information should contact Officer Greg Humrichouse at (319) 356-5275.
