Iowa City police are investigating a suspicious fire.
Shortly after 4 a.m., police and fire officials responded to the parking lot behind 418 S. Van Buren St. for a report of a vehicle fire. Responding officers and firefighters discovered two Dumpsters, two vehicles and a tree were on fire.
Police said they consider the fire suspicious.
Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 358-8477.
