An Iowa City man was arrested on charges of second degree sexual abuse related to a September 2006 incident.
Iowa City Police say Daniel Jay Jensen, 47, of 2221 Muscatine Ave. No 1, held a victim against her will for 12 hours in his apartment on Sept. 30, 2006.
During that time, police say, Jensen threatened the victim with a hammer and ordered her to remove her clothes. Jensen forced the victim to have sex with him and injected her five times with what the victim believed to be cocaine.
Jensen resided in apartment No. 4 at 2221 Muscatine Ave. at the time of the alleged assault, but has since moved to apartment No. 1, police said.
Second degree sexual abuse is a class B felony. Jensen remained in the Johnson County Jail Friday on a $50,000 cash bond.
