Paramedics rushed a Robins couple to the hospital Monday night after the motorcycle they were riding crashed along Interstate 380.
James L. Douglas, 59, and his wife, Donna S. Douglas, 58, were southbound on I-380 near the Toddville exit when the rear tire blew out on their motorcycle around 8:45 p.m., according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
The bike slid down the road before coming to rest in a ditch.
The Douglas' injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, authorities said. They were transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Information about their medical conditions was not immediately available.
