Inside lanes of I-380 segment set to close overnight

CEDAR RAPIDS — Inside lanes of Interstate 380 on the north side of downtown Cedar Rapids will be closed overnight starting Sunday for road resurfacing treatment work.
Work on the stretch, between Fourth Street NE and J Avenue NE, is expected to take a week, according to the city. The inside lanes will close at 8 p.m. but open back up at 6 a.m. each day.
When work on the inside lanes is done, crews will switch to work on the outside lanes. The city says it will announce those closures as they approach.
The work is expected to take about three weeks overall.
