IDOT to consider Hwy. 150 curve realignment

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Aug. 18 to discuss the proposed realignment of the curves on Iowa 150, 4.5 miles north of Independence. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Independence Public Library's community room, 805 First St. S.E.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the project informally.
