An accident on I-380 closed the interstate's northbound lanes for several hours through downtown Cedar Rapids.
Around 11:30 p.m. last night, Cedar Rapids police responded to an accident just north of the First Street East exit.
A semi carrying a load of chain link fence rolled onto its side and struck the I-380 Exit 20B sign causing it to fall across all lanes of traffic for I-380 northbound.
Police say the driver was not injured in the accident.
Crews cleared the scene and reopened I-380 just before 5 a.m. this morning.
