High-speed chase ends near Clarence

CLARENCE - Law enforcement officers on Saturday chased a truck that hit speeds up to 100 miles per hour through the back roads of multiple counties in Eastern Iowa.
At just after 2 p.m., the gray truck finally came to rest just northwest of Clarence, in Cedar County. The driver was seen being placed in the back of an ambulance.
The chase had been going for at least a half-hour, stretching through the towns of Martelle, Morley, Olin, and Stanwood.
Investigators have not released any further information.
