IOWA CITY, Iowa - University of Iowa police issued a campuswide Hawk Alert early Tuesday after receiving multiple reports of sexual assault.
In a post on Facebook, police said there were three reports of women being groped by a white man. He is described as approximately five feet, ten inches tall and wearing a flannel shirt with ripped jeans and flip-flops.
The suspect was seen in the area of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Hospital Ramp 4 and the main library, according to police.
Officers urged anyone who sees someone matching the suspect's description to no approach him and call law enforcement.
A statement from university spokesperson Hayley Bruce said Univeristy police were working with Iowa City police and hospital security to investigate the incidents.
