Gulick joins board for League of Cities
CEDAR RAPIDS - City Council member Kris Gulick has been elected to the National League of Cities' board of directors for 2016.
Gulick, who is past president of the Iowa League of Cities, was picked for the National League of Cities board in November at the league's annual Congress of Cities.
Gulick said serving on the national board will let him help shape decisions that affect cities across the country.
He is in his 10th year on the council and is in his third four-year term..
