CORALVILLE - Two Coralville companies, GEICO and MediRevv, are planning to add employees this year due to sales growth.
GEICO is looking to hire 180 employees, according to Amanda Sanford, hiring supervisor for the company's Coralville call center.
'We are hiring in both sales and service, which also creates opportunity for more leadership roles in our management development program,” Sanford said in a news release. 'With our fast-paced growth in the automobile industry, the need for management associates is at an all-time high.”
Sanford said GEICO needs to fill up to 20 positions in its management development program. The MDP is one of GEICO'S accelerated leadership programs and is a fast track into management at the insurance company.
Candidates for GEICO'S management development program must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, strong academics, and demonstrated leadership experience.
MediRevv, a health care revenue cycle management company, will be hiring about 60 employees. It has consistently added to its workforce in recent years, hiring about 200 employees since early 2013.
MediRevv moved into a second facility in early October 2014. The 26,200-square-foot, two-story building was needed to house an expanding workforce.
'We just passed our eighth year anniversary, yet our growth pace has not waned,” said Brad Baldwin, vice president of operations at MediRevv, in a news release.
'We are attracting larger and higher caliber clients, necessitating larger client teams. It's been an exciting time of sustained, explosive growth and we look forward to it continuing and to creating even more job opportunities.”
MediRevv was founded in 2007 by Christopher Klitgaard as Precision Revenue Strategies. The company changed its name to MediRevv in July 2011 to better reflect its focus on helping hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician groups improve cash flow and grow revenue.
