Garbage won’t be collected in Cedar Rapids Monday due to storm
Garbage collection will be delayed one day this week in Cedar Rapids for those who normally have their garbage collected on Mondays.
City officials said in a news release Sunday that due to weather, garbage and recycling will not be collected for those who have normal collection on Monday. Collection on those routes will take place Tuesday, officials said. All other customers can put out their garbage and recyling on their normal collection day.
Yard waste will not be collected for the entire week of Jan. 16, officials said.
