Traffic headed north on Interstate 380 came to a standstill for two hours following a three vehicle crash just north of Toddville early Friday night.
Trudi Pillard, 46, of Urbana, was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after her car crashed with two other SUVs at around 6:15 p.m.
Jennifer Willis, 34, of Chesterfield, Mo. and her five-year-old as well as her one-year-old were riding in one of the SUVs. They were taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids but Iowa State Patrol troopers said that none of the injuries from the accident appeared life-threatening.
State troopers said that a Chevy Blazer driven by Randy Thomas, 47, of Center Point, slowed his vehicle and was rear ended by Pillard's car which was rear ended by the SUV carrying the Willis family.
The accident froze northbound traffic all the way to Hiawatha, but said that all of the six people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
Iowa State Patrol troopers are still investigating the accident.
