Four residents of a rural Randalia home have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after a search warrant was executed there Thursday.
Kimberly Eckhardt, 42, David Heidt, 38, Kristy Heidt, 40, and Gregory Winter, 46, were charged with the Class B felony, which carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office said.
After the meth lab was dismantled, investigators found quantities of marijuana and methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several wildlife parts.
The wildlife parts were seized by a state conservation officer, who is investigating possible violations of game laws.
The warrant was executed after a weeklong investigation by the Sheriff's Office, Oelwein police and the conservation officer.
